When I was a child I remember building a cage for rabbits. For its design, I only thought about the practical aspects. I wanted it to be spacious and to allow the door to open wide so that I could feed the rabbits. My father was not entirely convinced by the design. He advised me to also try to think about “aesthetically” integrating the cage into the space, in relation to the surrounding objects. With this small project and my father’s intelligent observation, I had a first reflection on the concept of beauty.
